My influences are showing.

I don’t need to hide what feeds my work to make it mine. We share a world: its images, its noise, its culture, its contradictions. What differs is what we notice, what stays with us, and what we do with it.

Influence isn’t something to erase from the story. It’s something to acknowledge. Take it in. Question it. Respect the people and processes that put it there. Make something through your own experience, rather than pretending you arrived untouched.

SidXO is the system that this material passes through. The works are its products: different forms, recurring characters, familiar tensions. Each one is evidence of a process that keeps moving.

GEIST artwork expressed through clothing

A work doesn’t have to stay on a wall or a screen. GEIST and Tiger Attack bring art into clothing and daily life. Someone wears it; someone else encounters it. The loop opens again.

The hand makes the marks.
The code mixes them up.

An ExyOzy begins with drawings, scribbles and marks made by hand. These become digital masks. My own code recolours and recombines fragments of imagery, then brings them back into the familiar hearts, Xs, Os and other shapes.

The colours and patterns keep changing. The character remains recognisable: a point of hope within the surrounding noise.
